People frequently ask us: “What inspires you to develop so many new and innovative lamps?”

We have given the question some thought. Maybe it’s the magic of light which we felt for the first time as children, when we found an old and rusty but still working flashlight in a bunker. Or maybe our inspiration stems from our first encounter with the mild light of the South, when we travelled in Italy, two young, carefree students with little money

Ten years ago, when we founded our company in a garage, nobody would have thought that we’d grow to become the world market leader in LED-metal-flashlights, with 900 employees all over the world. We produce up to 30,000 lamps per day, run two R&D laboratories as well as our own design studio and sell our products in all continents of the earth.

The special technology and design of our lamps are protected by letters patent. Proudly we refer to more than 120 registered design patents, petty patents and technical patents.

Apart from a number of new flashlights, this catalogue contains our first series of living room lamps, for we are absolutely certain that the future of artificial light belongs to optoelectronic lamps. They are energy-saving, permit new shapes and forms, and their centrepiece, the LED, provides up to 100,000 hours of service life.
